Ofertă

Sunt Ioan Parean,din Sibiu, si intre 2004-2008 am scos 3 editii din cartea "Legende din Marginimea Sibiului" (cuprinde 42 de legende). Puteți pune cartea la dispoziția cititorilor noștri și vă sîntem recunoscători. Pentru aceasta trebuie să îndepliniți următoarele condiții:

1. Dumneavoastră trebuie să fiți titularul drepturilor de autor pentru textul cărții. Dacă la publicarea ei ați făcut cu editura un contract prin care ați renunțat la drepturile de autor atunci nu mai sînteți titular. Vă rog să verificați.
2. Trebuie să fiți de acord să eliberați textul cărții fie sub o licență liberă, fie în domeniul public. Licențele libere folosite des la Wikisursă sînt: Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License și GNU Free Documentation License. Prin aceste licențe vă păstrați paternitatea asupra textului, dar permiteți oricui să-l copieze și să-l redistribuie liber, cu condiția să vă menționeze ca autor. Prin eliberarea în domeniul public renunțați complet la drepturile de autor (cei mai mulți autori preferă totuși licențele libere).

Dacă îndepliniți cele două condiții, vă rog să ne trimiteți un e-mail în care să declarați că sînteți titularul și sub ce licență eliberați materialul. Adresa noastră de e-mail și alte instrucțiuni le găsiți aici.

Apoi veți putea trimite și legendele. Pentru aceasta puteți face cîte o pagină aici cu textul fiecărei legende. Dacă nu vă descurcați cereți-ne ajutorul.

Protejare

Observ că multe din modificările recente reprezintă vandalisme, și propun ca la Wikisource paginile cu opere complete ale căror conținut este identic cu originalul să fie protejate sau semiprotejate, conform politicii de la Wikiștiri (dacă sunt greșeli minore pot fi semnalate pe paginile de discuții și corectate ulterior de un administrator), care mi se pare mult mai potrivită aici. Dacă sunteți de acord, voi cere drepturile temporare la meta pentru a proteja paginile și după ce termin cer înlăturarea lor.Ionutzmovie 13 martie 2011 15:17 (EET)

Varianta finală a unei opere adăugate la Wikisource în limba română trebuie să fie revăzută și corectată de cel puțin doi utilizatori, conform pictogramelor:

Unica lucrare în această situație în prezent este Suveran și curtezan, adăugată de Bogdan și revizuită de Mvelam. Deși sunt de acord că ne-am putea lipsi de modificările distructive, am remarcat în ultimul timp și modificări anonime care corectau cuvinte prost despărțite sau spațieri. Cu toate astea, agreez o semi-protejare a articolelor ce ajung la cel puțin stadiul 75% (adică sunt revizuire și corectate), iar pentru asta avem nevoie de utilizatori care să petreacă timp confruntând originalele cu materialele pe care le avem noi, ceea ce e cam complicat. Oricum ar fi, semi-protejarea se poate face automat prin intermediul unui robot (precum acesta, de exemplu). Am pus robotul să facă următoarele modificări:

• repararea liniei de dialog (înlocuiește rândurile noi care încep cu - A/B/C...Z cu – A/B/C...Z). Rezultatul este:

Auto-întâmpinarea noilor utilizatori

Există o extensie a softului MediaWiki de autoîntâmpinare a noilor utilizatori ce cred că ne-ar fi utilă pentru a crește interesul noilor înregistrați în a participa la proiect. Pentru activarea extensiei respective, e nevoie de acordul comunității. În situația în care nimeni nu se va opune acestui demers, voi cere activarea cu următorii parametri:

• $wgNewUserSuppressRC – true – stabilește dacă mesajele de întâmpinare vor fi afișate în pagina Schimbărilor recente;
• $wgNewUserMinorEdit – true – întâmpinarea este marcată ca modificare minoră
• $wgNewUserMessageOnAutoCreate – false – întâmpinarea se activează și în cazul în care conturile sunt autocreate de sistem, nu înregistrate (în situația conturilor globale).

Schimbare diacritice

Salut. Rebel mi-a cerut ajutorul cu schimbarea diacriticelor pe Wikisource, conform w:WP:CD. Detalii despre diacriticele vechi și noi puteți găsi la w:Wikipedia:Diacritice și w:WP:DVN.

Schimbarea presupune adăugarea unor scripturi JavaScript care să permită tuturor utilizatorilor indiferent de sistemul de operare folosit să scrie cu noile diacritice, dar să le vadă pe cele vechi dacă afișarea noilor diacritice ar crea probleme de lizibilitate. În plus, un robot va face conversia tuturor paginilor existente. Înainte de rularea robotului, este nevoie de marcarea diacriticelor turcești conform acestei proceduri.

Aș dori deci să cer aprobarea comunității asupra următoarelor aspecte:

1. Trecerea bazei de date la noile diacritice
2. Acordarea statutului de robot utilizatorului Strainubot
3. Acordarea statutului temporar de administrator utilizatorului Strainubot până la terminarea trecerii

Este nevoie ca acceptul utilizatorilor să fie exprimat asupra fiecărui punct în așa fel încât să fie cât mai ușor verificabil de către stewarzii care vor face efectiv acordarea statutului.--Strainu 23 martie 2011 12:15 (EET)

• În principiu doresc să susțin acest efort. Totuși unele din textele de aici folosesc alte diacritice decât cele folosite azi (ḑ, ě etc.). DER1962

Prin bunăvoința lui Radufan, avem la Wikipedia o scanare a Dicționarului Enciclopedic Român din 1962, care este în domeniul public. Am observat că Wikisursă are o modalitate de OCR (sau copiere manuală?) a unor pagini scanate. Poate vă interesează să aduceți și acest document la Wikisursă. Nu știu exact de ce este nevoie, dar imaginile scanate sunt disponibile în acestă categorie de la Wikipedia.--Strainu 20 mai 2011 12:04 (EEST)

Îmi aduc aminte de discuția de la Sfatul Bătrânilor din 2007 w:Discuție Wikipedia:Sfatul Bătrânilor/Arhiva 155 și pentru pagina de exemplu prezentată acolo am câteva statistici: din totalul de 15 articole doar 3 existau deja pe WP, am introdus eu atunci 8 dintre care numai 2 au fost mărite ulterior unul imediat ce l-am pus, restul de 4 nu există nici acum. Dacă luăm altă pagină la întâmplare am numărat din 27 articole numai 14 care există pe WP. Desigur face sens să ne folosim de proofread de aici (dacă în sfârșit va funcționa cândva cum trebuie), dar DER chiar este în domeniul public pentru că îmi aduc aminte că se discuta controvers pe wp.--Mishuletz 29 mai 2011 18:43 (EEST)

Wikimedia Foundation is getting ready to push out 1.19 to all the WMF-hosted wikis. As we finish wrapping up our code review, you can test the new version right now on beta.wmflabs.org. For more information, please read the release notes or the start of the final announcement.

The following are the areas that you will probably be most interested in:

• Faster loading of javascript files makes dependency tracking more important.
• New common*.css files usable by skins instead of having to copy piles of generic styles from MonoBook or Vector's css.
• The default user signature now contains a talk link in addition to the user link.
• Searching blocked usernames in block log is now clearer.
• Better timezone recognition in user preferences.
• Improved diff readability for colorblind people.
• The interwiki links table can now be accessed also when the interwiki cache is used (used in the API and the Interwiki extension).
• More gender support (for instance in logs and user lists).
• Language converter improved, e.g. it now works depending on the page content language.
• Time and number-formatting magic words also now depend on the page content language.
• Bidirectional support further improved after 1.18.

Report any problems on the labs beta wiki and we'll work to address them before they software is released to the production wikis.

Wsexport: an automatic export tool for Wikisource

Hello, and first sorry for this automatic delivery message.

An export tool for Wikisource books, Wsexport, is currently in active development. It is a tool for exporting Wikisource's texts in EPUB, ODT and other file formats. It was created for French Wikisource, but it's also available for the other Wikisource subdomains. It can be used directly from its page on Toolserver.org (for texts in all languages, use "www" for oldwikisource), or browsing http://wsexport.fr.nf (currently only for French Wikisource's texts).

In order to work, the tool need some configuration from your Wikisource subdomain, This page explains how to do it. Currently French, Italian, English, and German Wikisource does it.

Burse pentru Wikimania 2012

Salut. Au început înscrierile pentru programul de burse pentru participanții la Wikimania 2012.

Pe lângă bursele oferite de fundația Wikimedia (WMF), asociația ROSEdu va oferi o bursă parțială special pentru un editor al unui proiect în limba română. Valoarea exactă nu este încă stabilită (căutăm să maximizăm suma până la sfârșitul înscrierilor), dar va fi de cel puțin 300 euro (valoarea burselor parțiale oferite de WMF). Condițiile impuse sunt aceleași: participare cât mai mare în cadrul unui proiect în limba română, precum și în alte proiecte de conținut/software liber, respectiv justificarea cheltuielilor (copii după biletul de avion/tichete de îmbarcare). Selecția câștigătorului va fi făcută tot de comitetul care selectează câștigătorii burselor WMF.

Traduceri

Conform drepturilor de autor, atât autorii cât și traducătorii trebuie se fie morți de mai mult de 70 de ani. Sunt acceptabile traduceri din autori ruși decedați înainte de 1941 dacă traducerea este în domeniul liber, de exemplu dacă o efectuați dumneavoastră și o introduceți aici.--Mishuletz (discuție) 21 aprilie 2012 13:15 (EEST)

Descărcarea întregii arhive

Există vreo modalitate de a descărca întreaga bază de date? Suntem interesați să folosim textele în proiectul DEX online pentru diverse scopuri:

• Crearea unei liste de frecvențe a cuvintelor limbii române
• Depistarea cuvintelor inexistente în DEX online și trimiterea lor unei echipe de lexicografi pentru elaborarea definițiilor
• Împărțirea în fraze pe care să le putem oferi ca exemplu pe marginea definiției.

Salut Cătălin. Poți descărca întreaga bază de date pentru orice proiect Wikimedia de la http://dumps.wikimedia.org/ , mai precis de la [1]. Ție îți va trebui probabil [2] (paginile curente fără istoric). Poți descărca întotdeauna ultima variantă de la http://dumps.wikimedia.org/rowikisource/latest/ (aceeași structură de nume, doar cu data înlocuită cu "latest").

Întrebări

Bună seara, Am zăbovit ceva vreme pe Wikisource înainte să-mi fac cont. Din câte am înțeles, diferența dintre Wikisource și Wikimanuale - cele două „biblioteci libere”, este în esență cea că pe Wikisource nu este vorba de creați proprii, sau oricum, este necesară o oarecare notabilitate pentru ca opera acestuia să-i fie publicată, de cealaltă parte fiind Wikimanuale.

Ceea ce mi se pare derutant este că nu întotdeauna îi este atașat unei opere sursa/ediția/bibliografia - acel antet care apare de exemplu la Descrierea Moldovei. Avem spre exemplu o poezie românească, publicată în original în alfabet chirilic. Cum s-a realizat transcrierea? A fost aceasta adusă la standardele ortografice din prezent? Dacă da, de către cine? Ori, o dată adăugat textul, unei persoane alteia decât cea a contribuitorului îi este foarte greu să realizeze acest lucru.

Mai apoi, am găsit Discursul lui Pârvulescu la Congresul al XII-lea. Aceasta nu este ceea ce pe Wikipedia s-ar numi WP:NOR?

În cele din urmă, mă gândeam că o dată cu apariția bibliotecii digitale Dacoromanica, avem poate pentru prima data un acces atât de accesibil la cărți vechi românești. Având în vedere că acestea sunt în chirilic/galgolitic, există vreo convenție aici care ar trebui urmărită în ceea ce privește transcrierea acestora?--Sofomoricus (discuție) 18 mai 2012 00:11 (EEST)

Cu privire la câteva sugestii în ceea ce privește secțiunea "Caractere speciale"

Bună seara,

Cum la "Caractere speciale" avem până și alfabetul Khmer, m-am gândit că n-ar strica să îl adaug pe cel chirilic românesc, în common.js-ul propriu, pentru ca mai încolo să fac același lucru cu cel de tranziție.

Aș aprecia, desigur, cu acceptul comunității, dacă unul dintre administratori ar putea face din aceasta un standard pe ro.ws.

În acest caz, nu susțin eliminarea alfabetului "Laoțian", "Thailandez" sau restul celora a căror probabilitate de a apărea în publicațiile pe care le (vom) găzdui aici, la Wikisource, dar m-ar bucura dacă cineva ar reuși cumva să schimbe ordinea acestora, astfel încât acestea două să se afle probabil după cel chirilic.--Sophomoricus (discuție) 31 mai 2012 21:36 (EEST)

Update on IPv6

The Wikimedia Foundation is planning to do limited testing of IPv6 on June 2-3. If there are not too many problems, we may fully enable IPv6 on World IPv6 day (June 6), and keep it enabled.

What this means for your project:

• At least on June 2-3, 2012, you may see a small number of edits from IPv6 addresses, which are in the form "2001:0db8:85a3:0000:0000:8a2e:0370:7334". See e.g. w:en:IPv6 address. These addresses should behave like any other IP address: You can leave messages on their talk pages; you can track their contributions; you can block them. (See the full version of this announcement for notes on range blocks.)

• In the mid term, some user scripts and tools will need to be adapted for IPv6.

• We suspect that IPv6 usage is going to be very low initially, meaning that abuse should be manageable, and we will assist in the monitoring of the situation.

2011 Picture of the Year competition

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2011 Picture of the Year competition is now open. We are interested in your opinion as to which images qualify to be the Picture of the Year 2011. Any user registered at Commons or a Wikimedia wiki SUL-related to Commons with more than 75 edits before 1 April 2012 (UTC) is welcome to vote and, of course everyone is welcome to view!

About 600 of the best of Wikimedia Common's photos, animations, movies and graphics were chosen –by the international Wikimedia Commons community– out of 12 million files during 2011 and are now called Featured Pictures.

Mobile view as default view coming soon

The mobile view of this project and others will soon become the default view on mobile devices (except tablets). Some language versions of these projects currently show no content on the mobile home page, and it is a good time to do a little formatting so users get a mobile-friendly view, or to add to existing mobile content if some already exists.

If you are an administrator, please consider helping with this change. There are instructions which are being translated. The proposed date of switching the default view is June 21.

Help decide about more than $10 million of Wikimedia donations in the coming year

Hi,

As many of you are aware, the Wikimedia Board of Trustees recently initiated important changes in the way that money is being distributed within the Wikimedia movement. As part of this, a new community-led "Funds Dissemination Committee" (FDC) is currently being set up. Already in 2012-13, its recommendations will guide the decisions about the distribution of over 10 million US dollars among the Foundation, chapters and other eligible entities.

Now, seven capable, knowledgeable and trustworthy community members are sought to volunteer on the initial Funds Dissemination Committee. It is expected to take up its work in September. In addition, a community member is sought to be the Ombudsperson for the FDC process. If you are interested in joining the committee, read the call for volunteers. Nominations are planned to close on August 15.

Wikidata is getting close to a first roll-out

As some of you might already have heard Wikimedia Deutschland is working on a new Wikimedia project. It is called m:Wikidata. The goal of Wikidata is to become a central data repository for the Wikipedias, its sister projects and the world. In the future it will hold data like the number of inhabitants of a country, the date of birth of a famous person or the length of a river. These can then be used in all Wikimedia projects and outside of them.

The project is divided into three phases and "we are getting close to roll-out the first phase". The phases are:

1. language links in the Wikipedias (making it possible to store the links between the language editions of an article just once in Wikidata instead of in each linked article)
2. infoboxes (making it possible to store the data that is currently in infoboxes in one central place and share the data)
3. lists (making it possible to create lists and similar things based on queries to Wikidata so they update automatically when new data is added or modified)

It'd be great if you could join us, test the demo version, provide feedback and take part in the development of Wikidata. You can find all the relevant information including an FAQ and sign-up links for our on-wiki newsletter on the Wikidata page on Meta.

All Wikimedia wikis - including this one - will soon be upgraded with new and possibly disruptive code. This process starts today and finishes on October 24 (see the upgrade schedule & code details).

Please watch for problems with:

• revision diffs
• templates
• CSS and JavaScript pages (like user scripts)
• bots
• PDF export
• images, video, and sound, especially scaling sizes
• the CologneBlue skin

If you notice any problems, please report problems at our defect tracker site. You can test for possible problems at test2.wikipedia.org and mediawiki.org, which have already been updated.

Fundraising localization: volunteers from outside the USA needed

Hello All,

The Wikimedia Foundation's Fundraising team have begun our 'User Experience' project, with the goal of understanding the donation experience in different countries outside the USA and enhancing the localization of our donation pages. I am searching for volunteers to spend 30 minutes on a Skype chat with me, reviewing their own country's donation pages. It will be done on a 'usability' format (I will ask you to read the text and go through the donation flow) and will be asking your feedback in the meanwhile.

The only pre-requisite is for the volunteer to actually live in the country and to have access to at least one donation method that we offer for that country (mainly credit/debit card, but also real-time banking like IDEAL, E-wallets, etc...) so we can do a live test and see if the donation goes through. All volunteers will be reimbursed of the donations that eventually succeed (and they will be low amounts, like 1-2 dollars)

By helping us you are actually helping thousands of people to support our mission of free knowledge across the world. Thank you to everyone who volunteered last year on the Wikimedia fundraising 'User Experience' project. We have talked to many different people in different countries and their feedback has helped us immensely in restructuring our pages. Wikimedia sites to move to primary data center in Ashburn, Virginia. Read-only mode expected.

This is intended to improve the technical performance and reliability of all Wikimedia sites, including this wiki. There will be some times when the site will be in read-only mode, and there may be full outages; the current target windows for the migration are January 22nd, 23rd and 24th, 2013, from 17:00 to 01:00 UTC (see other timezones on timeanddate.com). More information is available in the full announcement.

If you would like to stay informed of future technical upgrades, consider becoming a Tech ambassador and joining the ambassadors mailing list. You will be able to help your fellow Wikimedians have a voice in technical discussions and be notified of important decisions.

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2012 Picture of the Year competition is now open. We're interested in your opinion as to which images qualify to be the Picture of the Year for 2012. Voting is open to established Wikimedia users who meet the following criteria:

1. Users must have an account, at any Wikimedia project, which was registered before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC].
2. This user account must have more than 75 edits on any single Wikimedia project before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC]. Please check your account eligibility at the POTY 2012 Contest Eligibility tool.
3. Users must vote with an account meeting the above requirements either on Commons or another SUL-related Wikimedia project (for other Wikimedia projects, the account must be attached to the user's Commons account through SUL).

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. Convert complex templates to Lua to make them faster and more powerful

Greetings. As you might have seen on the Wikimedia tech blog or the tech ambassadors list, a new functionality called "Lua" is being enabled on all Wikimedia sites today. Lua is a scripting language that enables you to write faster and more powerful MediaWiki templates.

If you have questions about how to convert existing templates to Lua (or how to create new ones), we'll be holding two support sessions on IRC next week: one on Wednesday (for Oceania, Asia & America) and one on Friday (for Europe, Africa & America); see m:IRC office hours for the details. Există o nouă solicitare de comentarii la Meta-Wiki în ceea ce privește retragerea drepturilor de administrator în cazul utilizatorilor inactivi de foarte multă vreme. În general, această propunere a stewarzilor are în vedere wikiurile care nu dispun de un proces de evaluare a administratorilor.

Am alcătuit, de asemenea, pe pagina de discuție a paginii cu solicitarea, o listă a proiectelor care dispun de proceduri în ceea ce privește retragerea drepturilor administratorilor inactivi. Simțiți-vă liber să completați lista cu proiectul(ele) dumneavoastră, dacă beneficiați de o politică a administratorilor inactivi.

Orice opinie este binevenită. Discuția poate fi închisă cel mai devreme pe 21 mai 2013 (2013-05-21), dar termenul se poate extinde dacă este nevoie.

Wikisource vision development: News April 2013

Dear Wikisourcerors, it has been almost a month since we have started with the Elaborate Wikisource strategic vision grant and we would like to share some news with you:

• The Wikisource vision development pages are open to discussion. Specially important: what do you think of creating together an international Wikisource User Group?
• In case some Wikisources want to use Wikidata to store book metadata and share it with Commons, we have started Wikidata:Books task force to decide which properties are needed. We think it's very important to discuss book metadata there, both for Wikisource and for all other projects.
• We also started some relevant Requests for Comments for Wikisource:
  • Interproject links interface: how can we improve sister projects visibility?
  • Musical score transcription project proposal: now that Extension:Score allows musical scores both in Wikipedia and in Wikisource (example 1, example 2), we need to define where we want music sheets to be hosted.
• We are following and promoting a Google Summer of Code project for Wikisource: Improve support for book structures. We are also helping to convert the UploadWizard customisation for books proposal into another GSoC.
• First contacts have been initiated with Open Library, Internet Archive and Open Knowledge Foundation for possible partnerships. Please check out this page.

And that's it for now! During the month of May, we (Aubrey and Micru) would like to organize at least one Skype or Google Hangout meeting for the users of each one of the 10 biggest wikisources plus another one or two for the other languages (depending on interest). We want to know your opinion on what Wikisource should become in the next years.

The default position of the "edit" link in page section headers is going to change soon. The "edit" link will be positioned adjacent to the page header text rather than floating opposite it.

Section edit links will be to the immediate right of section titles, instead of on the far right. If you're an editor of one of the wikis which already implemented this change, nothing will substantially change for you; however, scripts and gadgets depending on the previous implementation of section edit links will have to be adjusted to continue working; however, nothing else should break even if they are not updated in time.

Ideas to do this all the way to 2009 at least. It is often difficult to track which of several potential section edit links on the far right is associated with the correct section, and many readers and anonymous or new editors may even be failing to notice section edit links at all, since they read section titles, which are far away from the links.

Recent software changes

(Not all changes will affect you.)

• The latest version of MediaWiki (version 1.22/wmf4) was added to non-Wikipedia wikis on May 13, and to the English Wikipedia (with a Wikidata software update) on May 20. It will be updated on all other Wikipedia sites on May 22. [3] [4]
• A software update will perhaps result in temporary issues with images. Please report any problems you notice. [5]
• MediaWiki recognizes links in twelve new schemes. Users can now link to SSH, XMPP and Bitcoin directly from wikicode. [6]
• VisualEditor was added to all content namespaces on mediawiki.org on May 20. [7]
• A new extension ("TemplateData") was added to all Wikipedia sites on May 20. It will allow a future version of VisualEditor to edit templates. [8]
• New sites: Greek Wikivoyage and Venetian Wiktionary joined the Wikimedia family last week; the total number of project wikis is now 794. [9] [10]
• The logo of 18 Wikipedias was changed to version 2.0 in a third group of updates. [11]
• The UploadWizard on Commons now shows links to the old upload form in 55 languages (bug 33513). [12]

Future software changes

• The next version of MediaWiki (version 1.22/wmf5) will be added to Wikimedia sites starting on May 27. [13]
• An updated version of Notifications, with new features and fewer bugs, will be added to the English Wikipedia on May 23. [14]
• The final version of the "single user login" (which allows people to use the same username on different Wikimedia wikis) is moved to August 2013. The software will automatically rename some usernames. [15]
• A new discussion system for MediaWiki, called "Flow", is under development. Wikimedia designers need your help to inform other users, test the prototype and discuss the interface. [16].
• The Wikimedia Foundation is hiring people to act as links between software developers and users for VisualEditor. [17]
